Quinta do Sol was purchased by my grandfather, António Luís Magalhães, in the year I was born, 1983. For several years, the estate abundantly produced Moscatel wine and apples, among many other crops. It was in this house that I grew up with my family, surrounded by nature, until life led us away from here.

 

Over the years, unfortunately, the house became a family vacation home, and the rural part of the estate deteriorated rapidly. Now, after living all over the world, I have the dream of revitalizing the Quinta do Sol.

I started doing this by gradually transforming the urban part, making it more welcoming with the goal of making anyone who visits Quinta do Sol feel at home. This is a space with so much family significance and cherished memories that my greatest wish is for guests to be as happy in this beautiful place as my family and I have always been.

I dream of restoring the rural part next, making it part of an integrated project of sustainable agriculture and responsible tourism.
